A General Approach Analysis for Amplify-and-Forward Relaying in Cooperative Diversity Networks

Resumo—Um método geral para a análise do desempenho de redes cooperativas de dois saltos com relays não-regenerativos amplifica-e-encaminha (AF) e empregando combinação por razão máxima (MRC) no terminal destino é proposto. A metodologia apresentada se aplica tanto a relays de ganho fixo como a relays de ganho variável. Aproximações em forma fechada para a probabilidade de outage e taxa de erro de sı́mbolo média de modulações lineares são propostas. Nossas formulações são simples e geram resultados de forma instantânea, independente do número de relays utilizados, em contraste com a solução exata que é bastante intricada e difı́cil de se avaliar, especialmente quando o número de relays aumenta. A simplicidade inerente ao nosso método o torna um referencial no projeto e análise de desempenho de redes cooperativas com relays de ganho fixo e variável. A precisão das nossas aproximações é ilustrada através de simulações Monte Carlo e discussões criteriosas são apresentadas.
